Abstract

The lessons learned from the nationwide implementation of an electronic disease surveillance system highlighted in this abstract can help to guide the successful implementation of an electronic disease surveillance system in developing countries.

Kayumba Kizito, Ministry of Health, Kigali

Dr. Kizito Kayumba is a medical doctor specialized in epidemiology. Working with Voxiva as TRACnet project director from 2009 to date, Dr Kayumba lead the design and implementation of an electronic disease surveillance system in Rwanda.
